National Dance Academy will sponsor an event to raise money for Operation Smile, a children’s charity that treats facial deformities such as cleft lips and cleft palates around the world.

Ashlynd Kohli, owner of National Dance Academy, will host “Any Girl Can Be a Princess” at the Coralville location of the National Dance Academy, 2100 Norcor Ave., from noon to 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 15.

The event is for children age 3 to 8. Princess will learn dances, create wands, design tiaras and have their photo taken with their favorite princess.

The minimum donation for this event is $32.
