Kimberlee Salmon is a sophomore studying Social Work, Political Science, and Aerospace Studies at the University of Iowa. She is from Cedar Falls, Iowa and attended dance classes at the Cedar Falls NDA for four years. While she was attending classes taught by Candice VanHove, she was on the award-winning Cedar Falls Dance Team for four years. She is currently taking dance classes through the University of Iowa Dance Department and is a member of the University of Iowa Dance Club. She is trained in ballet, jazz, modern, hip-hop, lyrical, and pom. She has worked at her mother’s in-home daycare and at her church’s youth ministry programs since she was 10 years old. Also, she helped with her dance team’s kid’s clinic where she taught kids routines and technique. Additionally, she is enrolled in the Air Force ROTC program. She is planning on commissioning into the United States Air Force as a Second Lieutenant following graduation and afterwards working with kids as a social worker once she is done with the service. She is a member of the Salt Company college ministry and volunteers at the Domestic Violence Intervention Program. Kim loves to help others pursue their passions and is excited to continue her dance career. Her fun-loving, positive attitude will make any class fun and energetic! Her love for dancing will inspire dancers to work hard and perform their best!
